BEN West continued his fine form to claim victory in the fourth round of the Chiltern League at Keysoe Equestrian Centre, Bedford.
The Bicester AC teenager added to last week’s triumph in the combined Oxford Mail Cross Country League and County Championships meet with another strong performance.
West won the under 17 men’s race by an emphatic 17 seconds, beating Kristian Imroth, of Dacorum & Tring AC, for the first time this season.
Clubmate Max Nicolle came third in the under 15 boys race and was also the leading Division 2 runner.
Samuel Worfolk, also of Bicester, crossed in 34th place.
Kyle Rayson came 42nd in the under 11 boys event, with Simon Worfolk 236th in the senior men’s competition.
Imogen Cox got the better of teammate Lucy McGrath by six seconds in the under 13 girls’ race, finishing 38th and 41st respectively.
