To help you choose, we’ve rounded up five of the contestants below and we’ll be profiling five more in next week’s edition alongside more coupons.
The first of today’s five food outlets is Bicester Bean Coffee Shop and Cafe off the A41 in the south of the town.
Owner Alyson Clifton turned to takeaway after lockdown restrictions left the cafe unable to trade and it has been a hit with residents.
She said: “I’m completely over the moon and it’s so lovely that my lush customers have voted for me. My aim is always about smiles on chops and full tummies and more so this last year.
“I don’t think anyone’s got a bigger smile on their chops than me since I was told I was in the top 10.”
Over in Langford is The Nightingale Pub which has also had to switch-up the way it has served customers for the past 12 months, offering takeaway pub classics.

Alister Wilson, senior operations manager, said: “At the heart of everything we’ve done throughout the pandemic has been about our customers, and we really are truly grateful that you’ve chosen The Nightingale.”
Covid accelerated resident Steve Johnston’s plans to turn his burrito stall into a restaurant at Bicester Business Park.
Mr Johnston, who runs Boho Burrito, said: “Big thanks to everyone who voted for us. We have been totally blown away by the positive response we have received since moving into our fixed location back in August."
A popular Indian takeaway that has been offering discounted meals to NHS staff during the pandemic also has the chance of being crowned the winner.
Mohammed Noor who runs family-run restaurant Nadia’s Indian Takeaway with his dad, said: “We are so happy, pleased and grateful for everyone who has voted for us - it means a lot and we appreciate it so much. It makes us work harder and motivates us to do better.”
Bicester resident Stuart Mellor started up an American-inspired BBQ takeaway called Outta The Smoke with his wife during lockdown last year.
