DOG waste bag dispensers are to be installed along a popular walking route in Bicester.
The trial is being held along the Langford 5km blue line route to see if it will encourage residents to keep the area clear and be responsible for their dogs.
The idea came from a resident who initially suggested to Bicester Town Council that the dispenser be made from a plastic bottle cut in half, but council officers said this could cause injury.
The council has bought alternatives instead for the trial.
