A CHARITY event saw people swim for four hours in a cold lake at the weekend.
The fundraiser, which took place at Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa in Chesterton on Saturday, was for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, and its 62-bedroom facility at the Oxford Children's Hospital.

Staff, members and non-members dressed in wetsuits and took the plunge, swimming in their 30-minute slot which allowed a steady flow of swimmers throughout the day.
The event managed to raise £1571.28.
Ronald McDonald House's facility in Oxford provides free home-from-home accommodation to families whilst their child is in hospital, ensuring parents are only ever minutes from their child's bedside.
Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa also held a swimming fundraiser last month which raised more than £2,100.
