In the book he lifts the curtain on his life which follows his career from his big break at the 2006 Royal Variety Performance.
Bookstore owner Nigel French said it was particularly lovely to see the number of young people who came to see the comedian and said there were lots of kids with their parents.
He said: “It worked beautifully, and lots of customers have commented on how well organized the event was, so we were very pleased with that”.
He added: “It was just a very enjoyable day and lovely to see the town busy with Bicester folk out and about.”
