Still no plans for Oxford Road Sports Ground after Bicester Sports Association (BSA) sold the site to Value Retail in 2018.
The grounds have been graced by the likes of Bobby Charlton and Duncan Edwards throughout the years, but now they are overgrown and unused.
Although BSA did very little to maintain the ground when they owned it, some locals are concerned about its future.
Callum Vinall, a Bicester resident, said: “We need to work with Value Retail in reopening Oxford Road for the people of Bicester as a sporting facility. We are the fastest growing town in Europe, a healthy town, we need more green space for sport not less.
“Oxford Road is important for its location and its history; I hope Value Retail can achieve this.”
