Bicester Village has assured visitors that it is open as normal, despite the rail disruption taking place this week.

On Tuesday, Members of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers walked out in a dispute over pay, jobs and conditions.

Further strikes will take place on Thursday (June 23) and Saturday (June 25), with disruptions also expected on the days in-between the strikes.

Bicester Village, however, has confirmed it will be open as normal, regardless of the travel issues.

A spokesperson for Bicester Village said: “Bicester Village is open for business as usual and guests are arriving either by bus, car or via Bicester North station.

“Our guests are advised to drive to the village where we continue to offer complimentary parking as usual, please consult the Chiltern website for further updates.”
