A flag-raising ceremony was staged at a town council building to commemorate Armed Forces Day.
Bicester Town Council hosted a flag-raising ceremony at Garth Park on Friday, June 24, to salute service personnel living in the town ahead of Armed Forces Day.

Several military personnel were in attendance, including representatives from Bicester Garrison and the colonel from RAF Croughton.
Mayor of Bicester, Alex Thrupp, said: “Flags and symbols do matter to people. Bicester’s legacy is primarily as a garrison town.
“As a result, it is doubly important for us to recognise that service personnel have made tremendous sacrifices for us.
“And, it is equally important to let the families of those people know that we appreciate their sacrifices, too.”
