A new health club is opening which promises gym equipment that “most people will never have seen”.
A new David Lloyd health club – the 101st in the UK - is opening on Wendlebury Road in Bicester with a full team of 90 staff, including 10 personal trainers.
The club is filled with modern equipment, including free weights, a functional area, spa, tennis courts, air conditioning and a natural feel, with lots of lateral light flooding in.
Club Manager Jack Phillips, who has been with David Lloyd for 22 years, said: “We’re really excited about the new club opening its doors to members on Monday September 19.”

“We’ll have 10 personal trainers, around 20 people in the bar and restaurant area, six more people working in the gym, a full kid’s team, a tennis team and a group exercise team who will deliver our bespoke classes.
“We have Blaze, which is a mixed martial arts and cardio class, Spirit; a blend of yoga and pilates, Ignite, a high energy cardio class, Battlebox, which is like being in the show gladiators and Cyclone, which is our custom spin class.
Mr Phillips also said there is a full programme of children’s classes, including superhero club and scooter club.
He added: “If there’s one thing I can say about David Lloyd, it’s that we pride ourselves on being able to deliver for our members.”
