A pair twins collected two sets of great GCSE results.
16-year-olds Anna and Bella Couzens, who both attend The Bicester School in Queens Avenue, collected their exam results this morning (August 25).
Anna achieved a majority of 7, 8 and 9 grades and now plans to go to sixth from at the school to study biology, psychology and sociology, as she hopes to become a children’s nurse.

"I was not expecting to do that well at all, I was shocked especially in the sciences", she said.
Her sister Bella scored 7 and 8 grades and is also joining sixth form as she plans to become a paramedic.
Bella said she was “surprised” by the results and felt “really happy”.
The sisters explained that doing their GCSEs together meant they could support each other through the process, as well as help each other revise for their exams.
Commenting on the school’s overall performance, , Tony Rushworth, executive headteacher of The Bicester School, said: “I am delighted at the results that TBS has achieved for 2022 which are better than our pre-pandemic scores in 2019.
“The school has shown a tremendous level of professionalism and resilience in negotiating through the challenges of the pandemic as well as successfully merging the Year 11 students of Bicester Tech onto our school roll.
“I would like to thank our staff and students for all their excellent work this year and wish our class of 2022 students great success in their next step, many of whom will be studying in the new TBS sixth form state of the art building.”
