She said: “I was delighted to attend the official opening of the new Heyford Park pharmacy yesterday evening.
"I was pleased to join Dr Toby Quartley and George Thomas, partners at the Alchester Medical Group, as well as meet staff working at the pharmacy including pharmacist Manni Chaggar.
"I also had the chance to speak to local residents who are really pleased that the pharmacy is now finally open following a hard-fought campaign for approval.”
“The pharmacy is already proving to be an important point of local primary care having been operating for several weeks now.
"They have experienced a significant number of people transfer to collect their prescriptions here and are eager for even more.”
“I was interested to learn more about the cutting-edge technology being used at the pharmacy including an automatic dispensary machine which I have been assured is the third of its kind in the whole country.
"The pharmacy also has two modern and spacious consultancy rooms at the back where Alchester plan on running GP and nurse appointments onsite which is extremely welcome news.”
