A drug driver found themselves in the dog house this morning – when police pulled them over for driving with a pooch in their lap.
Thames Valley Police’s traffic unit said officers saw the vehicle being driven along Middleton Stoney Road in Bicester on Sunday morning (April 9).

On the driver’s lap was a ‘large dog’, although the breed, sex and name of the canine was not given by officers.
The driver was tested at the roadside for drugs and traces of cocaine were found in the mutt-loving motorist’s saliva. They were arrested and a sample of blood taken for analysis at the police station.
