A local insurance broker has changed its name after being bought by an international group.
A-Plan which has branches in Witney, Carterton and Bicester will now be known as Howden which acquired A-Plan Group two years ago.
Founded in 1994, Howden is one of the largest specialist insurance distribution groups in the UK with over 100 high street branches.
Benjamin Evans, branch manager at Howden Witney said: “We’re so excited to mark this new chapter with our new name – and new look and feel of our branch.
“We’re still a local insurance broker, focused on helping our clients get the right advice, great value and dedicated, friendly support when needed on their home, motor and business insurance."

The branches are hosting launch events which are open to all during October from networking events to ‘pet pawtraits’ and family fun days.
He said: “Our upcoming events are our way of saying thank you to our clients and our community, and answer any questions you may have about our new name, and upcoming community initiatives.
"We would love to see you in branch, to thank our community for their support, introduce you to our new name and new brand, and celebrate this new chapter with you.
“It’s the same great people, and same great service, now with a brand-new name and look in branch, that’s fit for the future.”
