Hundreds showed up to a Christmas lights switch on with characters from a popular Disney movie.
Crowds gathered in Bicester town centre for the annual Christmas lights switch on event, which saw the winner of the mayor’s Christmas card competition, Sophia, and mayor Harry knight, pressing the switch.
Festivities began at 12 noon, where guests wondered the Christmas market enjoying a host of stalls selling arts and crafts, gifts and food.

A range of activities took place during the event, including street entertainers dressed as characters from Frozen, toddler rides and stage performances.
There were also lantern-making workshops during the day followed by a lantern parade after dark.
The evening was hosted by MCs Sparky and Sprite on the big stage, with performances from local groups Adele Peters performing arts, Rock Choir and Russel Jones, a former X-Factor contestant.
