CHARLIE BANKS, 26, of Westwater Way, Didcot pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of assault by beating on January 27 at Powell Place, Wantage. Banks was jailed for 12 weeks.
ALEXANDER BONNETT, 22, of Kremlin Drive, Liverpool pleaded guilty to five counts of criminal damage to property under £5000 and theft from a motor vehicle. On January 22, 2022, he stole a handbag, gloves and aprons from a car in Wantage. On the same day in the town, he damaged a house sign to the value of £300, he damaged a Mitsubishi Outlander to the value of £500, he damaged a Toyota Yaris to the value of £250, he damaged a Vauxhall Vectra to the value of £330 and damaged a Ford-S MAX MPV to the value of £1,200. Bonnett was given a community order of rehabilitation activity to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments or to participate in any activity for up to a maximum of 10 days. He must also complete 120 hours of unpaid work to be completed within 12 months. The magistrates also ordered he pay £600 in compensation.
NICOLE STOCKWELL, 31, of Burns Close, Farnborough, Hampshire, pleaded guilty to stalking without fear/alarm/distress. Between December 30, 2022, and March 24 he pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman by sending flowers and attending her address in Hornton. Stockwell was given a community order of rehabilitation activity to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments or to participate in any activity for up to a maximum of 15 days. A restraining order was also in place prohibiting contact directly or indirectly with the victim. The order lasts until November 12, 2025.
THOMAS STOKES, 46, of Nowell Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving. On May 9, he was driving a Ford Transit on Old Abingdon Road in Oxford when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol and Benzoylecgonine exceeded the specified limit. Stokes was given a 17 month disqualification from driving and fined £200.
ALAN BUNKER, 55, of Thirlmere Avenue, Easington Lane, Houghton Le Spring, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to drug driving. On May 15 he was driving a Ford Transit on Launton Road when the proportion of Benzoylecgonine in his blood was not less than 64 ug/L, exceeding the specified limit. Bunker was given a 12 month disqualification from driving and fined £400.
SHEHZAAD ALI, 41, of Raymond Avenue, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to drug driving. On May 16, he was driving a Mercedes Citan on the M40 in Milton Common when the proportion of a controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabino in his blood was not less than 4.9 ug/L, exceeding the specified limit. Ali was given a 12 month disqualification from driving and fined £120.
LEE DIXON, 39, of Dashwood Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using racially/religiously aggravated language to cause intentional harassment/alarm/distress on June 13 in Thame and to drink driving on December 1, 2022. He was driving a Vauxhall Crossland on Sir Frank William Avenue when he had 163 milligrammes of alcohol ii 100 millilitres of his blood, exceeding the prescribed limit. Dixon was given a community order of alcohol abstinence and monitoring to abstain from consuming any alcohol on March 14, 2024. He must comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend rehabilitation activity appointments for up to a maximum of 50 days. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and was fined £62.
