A Banbury care home has created a unique Christmas light display for the community to enjoy.

Seccombe Court, managed by Care UK, has lit up its courtyard to spread some festive cheer among locals.

The display was inspired by London's Winter Wonderland, and brought to life by the staff who wanted to provide a light show for residents unable to travel far.

Wojciech Kuczkowski, general manager at Seccombe Court, said: "We are enjoying having our very own in-house Christmas lights show – it looks amazing.

"There have been so many highlights at Seccombe Court over the past 12 months, and we're all looking forward to celebrating Christmas and marking the end of another wonderful year.

"It is important to us to build relationships with the local community and inviting them to see our Christmas lights is a great way to spread the festive feeling and make new connections.

"I'd like to thank the team for helping put up the lights – it really was a group effort."

Seccombe Court, situated on Gardner Way, is a care home which offers spaces for hobby and leisure activities, while providing care for residents with various needs, including full-time residential, dementia, and respite care.
