Storm Henk has battered large parts of the UK.

The Met Office issued an amber warning for high winds yesterday, with trees falling across the county including on the railway line between Bicester North and Banbury.

Bicester Advertiser: This caused trains to run at a reduced speed causing delays on the line towards the West Midlands.

A Chiltern Railways statement said earlier: "Due to a tree blocking the line towards the West Midlands between Bicester and Banbury train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes.

Bicester Advertiser: "This is whilst work is carried out to remove the blockage.

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused."
