AN assault sentencing has been delayed due to the defendant’s lack of representation.
Alexander Gray, 32, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court today for one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The incident took place on October 25, 2022 in Bicester when Gray assaulted Jed Denton and caused him actual bodily harm.

Gray was due to be sentenced in the morning but the case had to be adjourned as he had struggled to find representation prior to the hearing.
However, a defence barrister who was present in the court building stepped up to represent Gray and a new sentencing date was able to be set.
Gray, of HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, will now be sentenced on February 8.
