The 48 ‘poshest’ villages in the UK have been determined and one in Oxfordshire made the cut.
As well as house prices, experts from The Telegraph took into account the ease of commuting, aesthetic appeal and access to quality shops, pubs and restaurants.
The lah-de-dah lifestyle is a luxury few of us will seldom savour and at just under £2 million for the average house price, you can surely see why.

Harpsden
According to Rightmove, properties in Harpsden had an overall average price of £1,805,625 over the last year.
Also receiving the 'posh' nod back in 2022, The Telegraph named Harpsden among the poshest villages.
As well as Harpsden village the parish of Harpsden includes several nearby hamlets including Harpsden Bottom. Between and to the south of Harpsden and Harpsden Bottom is an area of open-access woodland known as Harpsden Woods.
Some scenes from the popular TV series Midsomer Murders have been filmed in the village of Harpsden.
