A THIEF has admitted to stealing over £4,000 of money bags from a petrol station where he worked in Bicester.

Francis Christopherson, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by employee which took place between July 3 and July 5, 2023.

The 33-year-old, who worked at the Applegreen Petrol Station in Banbury Road, stole three money bags to the value of £1,665, £1,365 and £1,220.

He also stole £100 worth of cigarettes and £282 worth of scratch cards.

The total value of everything stolen was £4,632.

At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 10, he pleaded guilty to the offence. He has since been granted unconditional bail and is next due to appear at the same court on August 14 for sentencing.
