Oxfordshire residents have the chance to nominate their councillors for a national award.
The Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) and CCLA Cllr Awards are now open for nominations to honour councillors across England, Wales, and Scotland.
The Cllr Awards highlight the achievements of elected members who have had significant impact in their communities over the past year.
Now in its 15th year, the award categories are Community Champion, Leader of the Year, Young Councillor of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Lifetime Legend.
Jonathan Carr-West, chief executive, LGIU, said: "The LGIU is proud to once again host the annual Cllr Awards, paying tribute to our locally elected representatives and sharing examples of the innovation and dedication our councillors demonstrate day in day out.
"More than ever local communities rely on councillors, whose positive contributions impact our daily lives in many ways, from maintaining streets to funding community projects and shaping the character of our towns.
"Often working tirelessly behind the scenes, elected members frequently go unnoticed, making the Cllr Awards essential in highlighting their invaluable work."
Nominators must provide details about the councillor's achievements and how their work has positively affected the community.
Nominations are open until September 13 with the shortlisted candidates announced in the autumn.
Winners in England and Wales will be announced at London's Guildhall on November 20, while the Scottish winners will be unveiled at City Chambers in Edinburgh on November 14.
