This week students in Bicester will collect their GCSE results, which comes a week after students collected their A-Level results.
Spirits were high in Bicester as students celebrated their A-Level results last Thursday (August 15).
At The Cooper School, 23 per cent of the grades achieved were A*-A, an improvement from last year, and students at The Bicester School celebrated "another fantastic set of A-Level and vocational results", with the average A Level grade being C+ and a Merit for BTECs.

Headteacher of The Bicester School, Tony Rushworth said: “Congratulations to all our year 13 students for the excellent results achieved, despite the numerous covid disruptions to their learning in 2020 and 2021.
"The students have worked so hard throughout this time, supported by their strongly committed teachers and superb sixth form leadership team."
Notable achievements include Phoebe Salter, who attained A*AA and is off to study Fine Art at Norwich, and Matias Pinho who attained A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
At The Cooper School, head student Noel Chacko was successful in his application to study Medicine at the University of Birmingham.
He said: “After two very challenging years, I’m overjoyed that I’ve fulfilled my childhood dream of getting into Medical School.
"I want to give a huge thank you to all my teachers for their support, and most importantly my parents (my best friends) for their sacrifices and hard-work which I will never forget.”
Megan Sollis, who achieved three A grades, said: “After having two hours of sleep I woke up this morning to receive the best email in the world.
"The last two years have been extremely overwhelming and to be honest some of the hardest years of my life but the hard amount of work has paid off.
"In September I will be studying Neuroscience at the University of Bristol and I am beyond excited for the journey ahead of me.”

Headteacher of The Cooper School, Dr. Rob Whannel said: “We have been so impressed by this Year 13 cohort throughout their time with us.
"It has been a pleasure to see these young people grow in both their academic ability and as a caring, kind and thoughtful group of students.
"We’ve been impressed by this year group’s determination, resilience, enthusiasm and academic curiosity; the skills that these students have developed will serve them well in whatever the future may hold.
"These great results are richly deserved and we wish all of our year 13 students the best of luck for their next steps.”
