Amazon has invested more than £2 billion in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire since 2010, a new report has revealed.
The latest Amazon Economic Impact Report details the investments made by the company across the UK since 2010, with £3.8 billion having gone into the South East.
It reveals this investment has led to the production of goods and services that have contributed an estimated £3.5 billion to the region's GDP.
Amazon has also created more than 4,500 full and part-time jobs in the South East.
The report shows there are more than 4,000 small and medium-sized businesses in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire selling on Amazon as independent selling partners.
In 2023 alone, these businesses achieved export sales of more than £260 million.
This figures stands at £560 million across the 11,000 businesses of this size in the whole of the South East.
