A stunning new photo shows a rainbow above an historic windmill near Bicester.
The photo of Brill Windmill, which is just over the Oxfordshire border, in Buckinghamshire, was taken on Friday, October 25.
The windmill, owned by Brill Parish Council, is managed by a registered charity called The Brill Society.
Dating back to around 1680, Brill Windmill is a post mill structure that has been largely rebuilt and refurbished, with the latest updates in 2009 and 2023.
The windmill is open to the public every Sunday from Easter to the end of September.
It is usually open from 12.30pm to 3.30pm between these dates, but bad weather or lack of volunteers can occasionally stop play.
During the summer, the sails are turned at midday on the last Sunday of every month to ensure they weather equally.
The Brill Society also sells various books and items related to the windmill and the village, such as mugs, coasters, pamphlets, and postcards.
The society said it is always looking for more volunteers to help open the windmill to the public.
