Thames Valley Police has issued a correction on a man's driving ban and the age of an injured man following a public error.
Adrian Dumitrche, aged 36, of North Parade, Derby, was sentenced on Monday, November 11 at Oxford Crown Court following a number of driving offences.
Dumitrache was sentenced to two years and 10 months in prison.
Initially, police said Dumitrche was disqualified from driving for seven years and five months, but today (November 19) the force has corrected this to four years and five months.

He pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit.
Police also initially said the injured man was in his late 30s, but today it has been corrected to his 50s.
At around 11.45am on June 21, Dumitrache was driving a van on the A34 near Wendlebury and drove in the wrong direction on the slip road, colliding with a number of vehicles.
A man, in his 50s, attempted to confront Dumitrache by approaching his vehicle on-foot but Dumitrache attempted to drive away whilst the man was holding onto his van.

The man managed to remove the keys from the van’s ignition, bringing it to a stop.
The man sustained a broken leg requiring surgery and ongoing treatment.
Dumitrache was arrested on the same day and charged on September 20.
