Motorists in Oxfordshire have been warned after major traffic signals on the road cut out.
Oxon Travel, a traffic account on X ran by Oxfordshire County Council, warned motorists about the faulty signals on the M40 near Bicester.
The signals were also not working on Wednesday (November 21).
A statement issued this morning at 9.26am said: "We have received reports that the traffic signals on the M40 junction nine roundabout Wendelbury are currently not working.

"Highways are aware and are working to resolve the issue.
"Approach with caution."
Traffic is "coping well" with the signal outage, according to the AA.
This comes after a traffic light outage at the Milton Interchange in Didcot on Wednesday which caused delays at the junction.
