A grade II listed farm is being converted and a motor vehicle workshop demolished to provide two houses.
Troy Farmhouse and Middle Barton Garage, in Somerton, near Bicester, are the subject of a planning application that would provide two houses, each with supplementary accommodation and associated landscaping.
Access to the houses will be from Ardley Road, using the existing entrance and driveway to the east of the site.

Other buildings situated between the application site and Troy farmhouse are not affected by the proposals.
A spokesperson for RPA Architects Ltd, the applicants, said: “It is acknowledged that the former agricultural outbuildings located to the east of Troy farmhouse as a whole, contribute to the special interest or significance of the Grade II listed Troy Farmhouse.
“By virtue of their agrarian character, the farm buildings have an architectural relevance.
“Those situated closest to Troy Farmhouse will remain untouched and great care has been taken in developing the scheme to retain this characteristic, avoiding harm to the heritage assets to the west of the application site.”
