A Bicester-based housebuilder will deliver up to 89 homes at a 12-acre site in Buckinghamshire.
Greencore Homes has been chosen by Richborough as its development partner for the site in Haddenham.
The site, located at the northern end of the village, has outline planning permission for up to 89 homes.
These will include 30 per cent on-site affordable housing, as well as landscaped public open spaces.
Haddenham is well-connected, located between Oxford and Aylesbury, with Haddenham and Thame Parkway rail station providing links to both London and Birmingham.
The project is part of the housebuilder's plan to create 10,000 better-than-net-zero homes by 2035.
Jon Di-Stefano, CEO of Greencore Homes, said: "Greencore's ambition is to build 10,000 of our better-than-net-zero homes by 2035.
"This acquisition in Haddenham is another step on that journey, and we are actively looking for other opportunities to complement our existing pipeline.
"We look forward to working in partnership with Richborough Estates to progress this development and deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable homes for the Haddenham community."
The firm constructs homes that are net zero in operation, better than net zero in embodied carbon in the structure, and ultra-low in embodied carbon in the construction of the entire home.
Its homes are built using a closed timber frame panel insulated with natural materials.
Unlike traditional brick houses, the structure of each home locks up more carbon than it emits.
The panels are manufactured at Greencore's Bicester factory and then transported to the site, where the structure can be constructed in just two weeks to become air and watertight.
Bassil Aslam of Orchestra Land, who acted as an advisor from the outset of the promotion, said: "At Orchestra Land, we are committed to partnering with forward-thinking developers such as Greencore to create sustainable, community-focused developments.
"This sale not only aligns with Haddenham's housing needs but also reinforces our shared dedication to enhancing local amenities and green spaces.
"We are pleased to support Greencore Homes and our partner Richborough in delivering high-quality, energy-efficient homes that will positively impact the Haddenham community for years to come.”
Richborough's disposals director, Hannah Deverell, added: "Working with our consultant team on this was an extremely efficient process.
"We secured planning consent at appeal on August 23 and Greencore were appointed on the 28th.
"This is our second sale to Greencore, a trusted delivery partner with a proven track record in providing sustainable residential developments. Our thanks to them and all involved.”
The acquisition of the site by Greencore has been enabled by working in collaboration with partners Richborough, Orchestra Land, Bidwells and Forsters.
