BICESTER clinched a brilliant victory in the first round of the YDL Midlands North East Division 2A season at Drayton, Banbury.
Oscar Honour threw a personal best of 22.76m to win the under 15 boy’s discus and took second in the 100m.
Tom Couzens kicked off his summer season with a pb of 14.2secs to win the under 15 80m hurdles.
He also clinched the high jump, as well as coming second in the 800m.
William Sims enjoyed a successful day, winning the javelin and the B string discus.
Max Nicolle finished third in the 1500m and won the B high jump, while Joe Mimpress clinched victory in the B string 80m hurdles and came second in the javelin.
Joseph Rayner took second in the 100m and fourth in the 200m and long jump.
The club enjoyed a highly successful day in the shot, with newcomer Georgia Sanderson claiming victory in the under 15 event with 7.87m.
Molly Acton won the B string in between finishing fourth in the 800m and fifth in the 300m.
Under 13 Amber Parker was also victorious in the shot.
Millie Couzens set a club record of 4mins 10secs in coming second in the under 13 1200m.
She was also third in the 75m hurdles and secured second in the high jump.
In the B string middle distances, Lottie Doherty and Amelia Cox enjoyed victories in the 800m and 1200m respectively, while Emilia Sims came second in the 150m.
Ben Groves (high jump and B string long jump) and Thomas Whitley (800m and B string high jump) triumphed in the boys category. Whitley also took second in the javelin.
