FLY half Tom Miles kicked 19 points as Bicester beat Thatcham 29-15 in a hard-fought Southern Counties North clash.
Peter Tarrega and Dave Hampton were the try-scorers as they made it two wins from as many games.
The visitors opened the scoring, with Ash Taylor driving over for an unconverted try.
But the hosts hit back as Tarrega raced over and Miles converted to make it 7-5.
The half-back and Thatcham’s Callum Stewart exchanged penalties.
And Miles’s good day with the boot continued as he slotted a further three penalties to make it 19-8.
Hampton then dived over, with Miles, once again, adding the extras.
Thatcham stormed back as Taylor was driven over and Dan Shaunessy converted.
But Bicester were not finished as Miles kicked another penalty.
They bid to make it three wins in a row on Saturday when they visit Aylesbury, who are looking for their first victory of the season.
