BICESTER fought back from a poor start to record a 27-23 victory at home to Beaconsfield on Saturday.
The result maintained their 100 per cent record and strengthened the club’s hold on second place in the Southern Counties North table.
The visitors led 15-0 after 20 minutes, thanks to two tries from Idrusu Labri, one converted, and a Freddie Pugh penalty.
Bicester replied through Christian Mann’s score, Tom Miles adding the extras.
But Pugh’s penalty made it 18-7 to Beaconsfield at half-time.
Bicester turned it around after the break to lead 21-18, thanks to tries from Charlie Bethell and Will Anns. Dan Spencer converted both.
The visitors hit back as Daniel Cady sprinted over, but two Miles penalties ensured victory.
