BICESTER are set to break new ground this weekend when they play in the sixth tier of English rugby for the first time.
The north Oxfordshire outfit host Wimborne at Oxford Road in their South West 1 East opener on Saturday.
Bicester won promotion via the Southern Counties play-offs after finishing second in the Northern division.
And they take on a side who were playing at the same level as themselves last season as Wimborne won the south equivalent.
Bicester join four other Oxfordshire teams in the division, with their first county derby against Banbury on Saturday, September 9.
