BICESTER picked up their first victory when earning a 15-8 triumph at home to Witney.
The hosts took the lead after 27 minutes of the South West 1 East clash, when Matt Duncalf crossed for an unconverted try.
But Witney levelled five minutes later, Scott Mortimer crashing over.
A Sam Richardson penalty made it 8-5 to Bicester on 50 minutes, before George Lewis replied to bring the scores level with seven minutes to go.
The hosts claimed victory on 77 minutes, when Witney’s Scott Mortimer was sin-binned and, after repeated attempts to drive over, Dan Spencer eventually scored, Richardson converting.
Witney desperately tried to respond and won a lineout five metres from the tryline, but Bicester caught the ball and kicked into touch.
Banbury made it three wins in a row with a 35-34 victory at Chippenham.
Despite an Ed Phillips penalty, the hosts led 12-3, when Ryan Surrey and Charlie Palmer crossed. Sam Saunders converted the first.
Banbury hit back when Freddie Cracknell went over for an unconverted try, but Chippenham led 17-8 at the break, thanks to Jacob Unwin’s try.
A Phillips penalty reduced the arrears, but Unwin scored again, Saunders converting to make it 24-11.
Banbury led 32-24, when Phillips, Gray and Jimmy Manley crossed, all three tries being converted by the former.
A Brad Doggett converted try and Saunders penalty put the hosts in front.
With just minutes to go, a Phillips penalty put Banbury ahead, but Sam Saunders missed a late kick for Chippenham.
Oxford Harlequins beat Royal Wootton Bassett 20-14 at home.
Brian Nawari converted his own try to put the visitors in front.
But Quins led 14-7 at half-time, when Freddie Campbell and Tom Edwards crossed, Sam Watkinson converting.
Chris Patterson’s try, Nawari adding the extras, made it 14-14, but two Watkinson penalties earned Quins victory.
Grove were beaten 37-19 by Wimborne.
