BICESTER suffered a 45-20 defeat at home to South West 1 East leaders Old Patesians.
The visitors took an early lead, when James Saunders stretched over, with Lee Hathaway, who soon after kicked a penalty, converting.
Bicester reduced the deficit to 10-8 as Lemeki Valevou darted across and Charlie Bethell added a penalty.
But converted tries from Scott Aldritt and George Angell saw Old Pats lead 24-8 at the break.
Freddie Myatt crashed over for Bicester, Bethell converting, to reduce the arrears to nine points.
However, the visitors replied through Chris Deane’s score, before the hosts struck back, thanks to Eddie Roberts’s try.
But Alex MacDonald was sin-binned late on for Bicester and Old Pats made sure of victory, when Gethin Evans and Rick Hance dived over.
