TWO Bicester runners achieved personal best performances in the Oxford Mail Cross Country League.
Samuel Worfolk finished sixth in the combined under 15/17 race during the third round at Horspath.
Elsie Jacobs also impressed, crossing sixth in the under 11 girls’ event.
Bicester’s Owen Stocker was seventh in the boys’ under 13 event.
Lucy McGrath and Anna Jolliffe were fifth and sixth respectively in the girls’ equivalent.
Jago Newton crossed seventh in the under nine girls and boys event.
The competition also doubled up as the Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships and Alchester’s John Nelson won county gold in the vet 60 age group.
Clubmate Claire Court was the first Alchester runner home in the ladies race, crossing 59th.
