ANNA Jolliffe impressed as Bicester’s Under 13 girls finished second in the final Division 2 standings of the Chiltern Cross Country League.
The youngster was 15th in the combined Division 1 and 2 race in the last round at Milton Keynes.
Jolliffe was the fourth runner home from the lower category and finished joint third in the standings.
Clubmate Imogen Cox was 30th in the race.
Bicester’s under 15 boys matched the girls, also securing second in the team standings.
Edward Jolliffe led the team home in 27th.
In the under 17 men’s race, Bicester’s Samuel Worfolk was the second Division 2 runner home in 28th overall.
Owen Stocker was 27th – sixth of the second tier runners – in the under 13 event.
Thomas Auty came 39th in the under 11 race.
Meanwhile, Bicester Tri’s Elliot Newman took on the Maverick Silva Dark Series in Henley-on-Thames, finishing the trail run, where he needed a head torch, in 1hr 20mins 51secs as he crossed 27th.
