CHRIS Jackson’s equaliser kept Wantage Town second in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division as they drew 1-1 at third-placed Ascot United.
Callum Harvey’s opener was a false dawn for struggling Abingdon United, who crashed to a 5-1 defeat at Windsor.
Ardley United were beaten 4-0 at Tuffley Rovers.
In Division 1 West, Clanfield 85 lost 3-2 at home to Kidlington Dev.
Jordi Mulvany and Adam Pendall were on target for Clanfield, but Jack Gaul (2) and Callum Rice sealed the points for Kidlington.
Easington Sports were 2-0 victors at Tytherington Rocks. Callum Covey and George Coombes with the goals in either half.
In Division 1 East, Thame Rangers beat Abingdon Town 3-1, thanks to a double from Patrick Boston and Dan Hatton’s effort.
Paul Green was on target for Abingdon with a minute remaining to reduce the deficit.
Chinnor lost 6-2 at Woodley United, Stuart Braun and Richard Jewell with the goals late on for the visitors in the defeat.
Didcot Town Dev were beaten 1-0 at home by Chalvey Sports.
The hosts were unable to break Chalvey down after conceding just 15 minutes in.
Wallingford Town also suffered home woes, a 3-0 defeat to Wokingham & Emmbrook with all three goals coming in the second half.
