REHMAN Ullah hit an unbeaten century as Westcott cruised to a ten-wicket victory at home to Chipping Norton in OCA League Division 1.
All-rounder Ullah claimed a wicket but had to play second fiddle to Mark Strong (3-35) and Tanveer Hussain (3-45) as Chippy were restricted to
155-8, Ian Widdows hitting 56.
Ullah then blasted 104 not out, sharing a superb stand with Stuart Symes (50no) as Westcott cruised to 159-0.
George Seacole bagged a five-wicket haul as defending champions Witney Swifts continued their perfect start with a crushing 117-run win at Marsh Gibbon.
Max Godwin (69) and Seacole (51) had led Swifts to an imposing 231-9 in their 45 overs, Joe Leonard taking 4-64.
Seacole then destroyed Gibbon with 5-20 as they fell for just 114.
Sean Holley’s 96 helped Stonesfield to 161-7 at home to Faringdon.
The visitors then slumped to 101 all out as Dan Farrant took 5-50.
Middleton Cheney saw off Oxenford by five wickets.
Sam Hanson claimed 4-32 in Oxenford’s 136 all out, before Steve Twynham (66) led Middleton to 137-5.
Wolvercote set 219-8 on their way to a 30-run victory at Garsington & Cowley.
Mark Child (72) led the way with the bat, and then Toby Shelley claimed 4-47 to help restrict the hosts to 189-9.
In Division 2, an unbeaten century from Tom Small was in vain for Cairns Fudge as they lost by 28 runs at home to Wootton & Boars Hill.
Shaun Morton (75) helped Wootton to 219-7, before Small’s 129 not out got Fudge close.
But 4-17 for Billy Webb kept the hosts in check and they were all out for 191.
Stanton Harcourt brushed aside Bampton by seven wickets, despite a century for the visitors’ James Bray.
Bampton set 209-6, Bray leading the way with 102, but Stanton then eased to 212-3 in the 33rd over as Ollie Pascoe hit 87 not out and Ryan Frost an unbeaten 81.
A haul of 6-19 from Rama Garimella helped Watlington to a 136-run triumph over Tetsworth.
Having set 191-8 in their 45 overs, Garimella ran through the visitors, who were shot out for 55.
Hanborough saw off Clifton Hampden by three wickets.
The visitors were dismissed for 143, Morley Benson top-scoring with 49, before Joe Burgess hit 55 to steer Hanborough to 144-7.
Kilkenny defeated hosts East & West Hendred by 14 runs.
Liam Day top-scored with 40 in Kilkenny’s 206-8, Carl Palmer taking 4-47 for the hosts.
Hendred were then bowled out for 192, despite 66 from Andy Francis, Tom Valentine taking 3-31.
Ethan Davie was the star for Marcham as they beat Combe by seven wickets in Division 3.
The 15-year-old claimed 7-19 as Combe were dismissed for 143, before he hit 39 not out in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand with Tom Mooring (54no) to steer Marcham to 144-3.
Hook Norton beat Dorchester by seven wickets after bowling their hosts out for 89, Adam Bennett taking 5-26.
Broughton & North Newington defeated Brill by six wickets on the target score method.
Having restricted Brill to 109-9, thanks to Clark Berry’s 4-22, a revised target of 78 from 25 overs proved no problem as Broughton reached 83-4.
Elsewhere, Risinghurst defeated Kidlington by five runs.
In Division 4, Shrivenham eased past hosts Witney Swifts 2nd by 98 runs.
Manoj Perera hit 96 as Shrivenham set 215 all out, before Simon Carr (5-16) and Scott Valentine (4-32) dismissed Swifts for 117.
Steventon eased to a 166-run win over Uffington.
Kester Matthew hit 118 not out for Steventon in their 269-6, before Phillip Armstrong took 5-29 as Uffington fell for 71.
Waheed Rehman’s 77 not out helped Garsington & Cowley 2nd to a three-wicket win at Wolvercote 2nd.
Wolvercote were held to 121-7, before Rehman steered Garsington to victory.
West Ilsley shot visitors Chadlington out for just 54 before cruising to an eight-wicket win.
Oxenford 2nd beat visitors Deddington by five wickets.
Deddington were dismissed for 104, and then Divyansh Gulati (40) and Harry Sturgess (32no) saw Oxenford to victory.
Tetsworth 2nd skittled ten-man Freeland 2nd out for a paltry 26 as they cruised to an eight-wicket victory in a one-sided Division 5 clash.
Clifford Jacob took 4-12 and Hamid Abdul 3-11, before Tetsworth reached 30-2.
Nigel Lovell’s half-century helped Sunningwell to a five-wicket win over Chalgrove.
Adam Duffield took 3-25 in Chalgrove’s 100 all out, before Lovell’s unbeaten 50 led Sunningwell to 101-5.
Wolvercote 3rd saw off visitors East & West Hendred 2nd by six wickets.
In Division 6, Liam Walker’s impressive century helped Swinbrook to a 113-run win over Dorchester 2nd.
Walker struck 128 in Swinbrook’s 229-5, and then Ryan Dadge claimed 3-48 and Mark Read 3-24 in Dorchester’s 116 all out.
Witney Swifts 3rd eased past Charlbury 4th by 132 runs in Division 7 North.
Matt Howard (76) led the way in Swifts’ 221 all out, before Philip Blakeman took 3-21 as Charlbury were shot out for 89.
In Division 7 South, Faringdon eased to a 117-run win over visitors Bampton 2nd.
Jonathan Ritchie hit 67 not out and Dave Johnson was dismissed for the same score in Faringdon’s 241-8, before Andy Liddiard took 4-46 in Bampton’s 124 all out.
Elsewhere, Chinnor thrashed hosts Wootton & Boars Hill by 152 runs as Kevin Slatter starred with the bat, hitting 81 in their 206-7.
