GEORGE Seacole hit a superb century as Witney Swifts returned to winning ways in the OCA League with a crushing 139-run victory over visitors Westcott in Division 1.
Seacole smashed 135 as Swifts, who had lost their previous two games, racked up 248-8, despite Mark Strong taking 5-67.
George Townsend then took 5-49 as Westcott slumped to 109 all out to keep Swifts top of the table.
Oxenford moved up to second with an eight-wicket win at Wolvercote.
Stephen Wright took 3-13 to help restrict the home side to 117-9 and then Oxenford cruised to 118-2 to secure victory.
Faringdon moved out of the drop zone with a six-wicket win over visitors Middleton Cheney.
Middleton posted 156-8 as Nick Giles claimed 4-46.
Will Oglesby (74no) and Mike Hume (31no) then led the way as Faringdon secured victory at 159-4.
Marsh Gibbon remain winless after they lost by four wickets at Chipping Norton.
Darren De Bruyn took 4-31 to send Marsh Gibbon stumbling to 129 all out, before Arthur Ward top-scored with 40 not out as Chippy reached 130-6.
Garsington & Cowley brushed aside hosts Stonesfield by 73 runs.
Dan Khan (68) and Usman Younis (62) helped them to 188 all out, despite an excellent spell of bowling from Tom Gubbins, who returned figures of 6-24.
Stonesfield then fell for 115 as Muhammad Adil took 6-17.
Cairns Fudge went top of Division 2 after edging out visitors Stanton Harcourt by two wickets.
Ollie Pascoe struck 53 in Stanton’s 174 all out, Ben Breary taking 4-32.
Tom Small then hit 52 to help Fudge to 178-8 to secure a narrow win.
Wootton & Boars Hill were too strong for Bampton as they won by 131 runs.
Damien Wiskin (49) and Ben Procter (39) saw Wootton to 197-9 and then Ben Jenkins took 4-10, Billy Webb 3-20 and Nik King 3-24 as Bampton crashed to 66 all out.
Ben Andre scored 108 not out as Watlington hammered Clifton Hampden by 119 runs.
Rama Garimella chipped in with 80 in Watlington’s 289-6.
Owen Lewis then took 3-18 as Clifton were held to 170-8, Morley Benson top-scoring with 51.
Basement boys Hanborough lost again, falling to a 34-run defeat against East & West Hendred.
Hendred were all out for 138, but William Bennett then took 4-31 as Hanborough slumped to 104 all out.
Division 3 leaders Hook Norton fell to their first defeat of the season as Kidlington won by six wickets.
Michael Tippett took 3-30 as Hooky were bowled out for 134 and then Andy Oliver hit 47 not out in Kidlington’s 135-4.
Conor Graney hit 86 to help Dorchester to a 57-run win over Broughton & North Newington.
Dorchester set 218-8 and then Tom Ferris took 6-46 as Broughton fell for 161.
Combe saw off visitors Radley by six wickets.
Julian Chaundy took 5-31 in Radley’s 139 all out, before Robbie Nicholson hit 58 to lead Combe to 141-4.
Risinghurst thrashed Brill by 144 runs.
Rakesh Nambiar top-scored with 84 in the home side’s 227-6, then three wickets apiece for Ripon Masih and Saqib Hussain sent Brill crashing to 83 all out.
Wantage beat Marcham by 11 runs. Colin Mercer (61) saw Wantage to 194 all out, Stuart Armstrong and Ethan Davie taking four wickets each.
Neil Patel (83no) and Davie (73no) shone for Marcham, but they finished just short on 183-6.
In Division 4, leaders Steventon marched on with a nine-wicket win at Deddington.
They bowled their hosts out for 110, before Daniel Bradley hit 63 not out in Steventon’s 113-1.
Garsington & Cowley 2nd saw off visitors Uffington by 77 runs.
Saqib Mohammed (84) helped his side set 268-6 and then Adnan Khan took 5-26 as Uffington fell for 191.
Adam Barnes scored 108 for West Ilsley in their eight-run win at Shrivenham.
The hosts set 227-9 as Scott Winskill scored 78.
Barnes and Ross Wise (66) then led Ilsley to 235-7 to secure victory.
Elsewhere, Oxenford 2nd beat Wolvercote 2nd by 65 runs.
Ryan Lewis hammered an incredible 218 not out as Stanton Harcourt 2nd thrashed Kidlington 3rd by 141 runs in Division 7 North.
Lewis’s staggering knock contained 20 sixes and 20 fours, allowing Stanton to declare on 288-3 – having been 6-3.
Declan Wastie then claimed 4-17 as Kidlington fell to 147 all out.
Josh Evans took 5-11 as Middleton Cheney beat Deddington by ten wickets.
In Division 7 South, leaders Harwell International fell to a five-wicket defeat against Chinnor.
Tetsworth 2nd made it six wins from six as they beat Chalgrove by five wickets in Division 5.
Del Cyrus was the star, taking 4-18 to help dismiss Chalgrove for 138, before hitting 39 as Tetsworth eased to 139-5, Aaron Huish scoring 54 not out.
Freeland beat Sunningwell by six wickets after bowling their visitors out for 116, while Risinghurst 2nd easily saw off Wolvercote 3rd.
In Division 6, Kidlington 2nd hammered Swinbrook by 126 runs.
Nick Jeacock (92) and Sam Rodway (84no) led Kidlington to 257-4 before Swinbrook were shot out for 131.
Will Anastasiadis proved the star of the show with 7-38 as Dorchester 2nd edged to victory over Watlington by two wickets.
Watlington were skittled out for 94, but Dorchester lost eight wickets before edging in at 98-8.
