NATHAN Patrick rescued Didcot as the Division 1 leaders marched on with victory at Long Marston in the Cherwell League.
The table-toppers sealed a seventh successive win – a 16th consecutive success in the league – but were given a scare.
Didcot were thankful to Richard Underdown (72) as they were dismissed in the 40th over for 139, Alastair Bee taking 4-23 and Laura Sandy 4-38.
Patrick then ripped through Marston with 6-30 as the home side were shot out for 76.
James Lee struck a superb century as Cumnor hammered visitors Westbury by 128 runs.
Westbury inserted their hosts, but, led by Lee, who scored 108 off 138 balls, Cumnor posted 218 all out, veteran off-spinner Richard Tredwell taking 3-45.
Westbury never got going in reply, only opener Olly Tice and No 9 Charlie Harper making double figures as they fell for 90, Patrick Knightley taking 4-23 and Alex Davies 3-14.
Shipton-under-Wychwood’s sorry season continued as they crashed to an eight-wicket defeat against Great Brickhill.
Jude Ramanadanpulle took 4-30 as Shipton slumped to 112 all out, then Mark Nelson slammed 80 not out as Brickhill cruised home in the 22nd over.
Tiddington skittled visitors Buckingham Town 2nd for just 89 in their seven-wicket win.
Max Smith (35) top-scored in Tiddington’s reply, Nick Pykett hitting a six with the scores level to secure victory.
Abingdon Vale skipper Joe Butcher and his uncle Paul Butcher shone to help their side to a creditable draw against Twyford.
Twyford were all out for 181, Asif Shah hitting 62 and Shabaaz Alam 52.
The consistent Jonathan Jenkinson took 5-61 for the hosts with Matt Butcher – Joe’s brother – claiming 3-17 with his first spell of bowling in the top flight.
Helped by 74 from skipper Joe and 49 from Paul Butcher, Abingdon hung on for a draw at 172-9.
In Division 2, Horspath 2nd ended Cropredy’s unbeaten record with a thrilling four-run win.
They were dismissed for just 129, Dom O’Connor hitting 61 and Jake Heath taking 4-30.
But youngster Alfie Turner then took 4-32 as Cropredy fell to 125 all out.
Challow & Childrey moved off the bottom with a nine-wicket win over Aston Rowant 2nd.
Joe Harris took 6-38 in Rowant’s 156 all out, and then Ryan Gordon slammed 101 not out to steer Challow home in the 33rd over.
Minster Lovell slumped to a pitiful 81 all out as they crashed to the bottom of the table with a nine-wicket defeat at Wolverton.
Idrees Butt was chief destroyer with 7-21 for the home side.
Bicester & North Oxford were all out for 111 as they slumped to a 22-run defeat against Leighton Buzzard.
Dan Clark took 4-44 in Buzzard’s 133 all out, but 6-45 from Lee Selfe sent Bicester tumbling.
Banbury 2nd beat Bledlow Village by 122 runs.
Having set 243-9, Tom Bartlett hitting 62, Banbury dismissed their visitors for 121 as Richard Simpson took 4-33.
Ollie Ong returned superb figures of 7-44 to help Sandford St Martin to a convincing seven-wicket victory at Banbury 3rd in Division 3.
Banbury set only 165-8 in their 53 overs batting first, Ollie Murrey hitting 77 not out.
In reply, Sandford eased to 166-3 in the 39th over as Steve Dobson hit 66 and Jim Howe 41.
Richard Must took 6-42 for Oxford 2nd as they hammered Great Brickhill 2nd by ten wickets.
The hosts were shot out for 84, then Oxford cruised to 87-0, Arthur Muir hitting 48 not out.
Oxford Downs 2nd picked up a four-wicket win at Thame 2nd.
Dan Sherbourne (4-40) helped to restrict Thame to 179-9, then Prav Chahal (64no) and Andrew Lake (51) led Downs to 180-6.
Five wickets apiece for Arfan Ahmed (5-33) and Abdul Saleem (5-51) helped Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts to a 93-run win at Stokenchurch.
East Oxford clung on for a draw at Horley.
Dave Clark (118no) helped Horley to 258-7, which was beyond East Oxford, who held on at 175-9 to stay top of the table.
Division 4 leaders Witney Mills marched on with a 66-run win over Charlbury.
Veteran spinner Steve Kelly took 3-14 as Charlbury were skittled for 74 in reply to Mills’s 140-9.
Jordan Davis hit 85 not out and Ellie Noble took 5-20 as Tiddington eased to a six-wicket win at Horspath 3rd.
Skipper Matt Darley found his line to take 5-29 but could not help Abingdon Vale 2nd from losing by 105 runs at Brackley after being bowled out for just 84.
Great & Little Tew went down by four wickets at home to Bletchley Town, despite 62 from skipper Jack Belmont.
Dylan Driscoll smashed his third century of the season as Cumnor 2nd beat hosts Leighton Buzzard 2nd by 29 runs in Division 5.
The 13-year-old hit 131 and George Setterfield 57 as Cumnor set 249 all out.
Joe Clapton (5-40) and Driscoll (3-36) then combined to dismiss Buzzard for 220.
Kendal Robertson’s 132 was in vain as Kingston Bagpuize lost by 24 runs at Challow 2nd.
Challow set 230-7, Robert Jones-Walters (90) top-scoring, then, despite Robertson’s ton, Kingston were all out for 206.
In Division 6, Tom Boardman took 6-57 but finished on the losing side as Banbury 4th beat Westbury 2nd by 145 runs.
Wes Spearman hit 55 then took 5-30 as Minster Lovell 2nd beat Witney Mills 2nd by 92 runs in Division 7.
In Division 8, a haul of 6-28 from Tariq Mirza helped Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd to a four-wicket win at home to Brackley 2nd.
In Division 9, Adam Jones took 6-14 as Cumnor third eased past Kimble 2nd by 87 runs.
Malik Khalid hit an unbeaten 102 to help basement boys Oxford 4th to a 75-run win over Minster Lovell 3rd in Division 10.
