NO fewer than five Shipton-under-Wychwood players were out for a duck as they were bundled out for an embarrassing 36 in Tier 1A.
It saw them crash to a 112-run defeat at Bledlow Village.
Darren Gordan (5-28) was the pick of the Shipton attack, while Shaun Miller and Greg Woods also took two wickets apiece as their hosts were dismissed for 148.
But Shipton opener Arun White was bowled by Ben Moore off the very first ball.
They quickly found themselves in dire trouble at 8-5 as Ben Norgrove and Lewis Marston fell for nought and Dee Jarvis managed just a single.
Tim Senior was next to go, for Shipton’s top-score of 15, reducing them to 16-6.
And the tail could not wag as they were all out inside 13 overs, Moore finishing with an outstanding 7-13.
Cumnor and Sandford St Martin stayed joint top as both won by 33 runs.
Michael Race (51) helped Cumnor to 140 all out at Tiddington, Bradley Rose taking 5-19 and Colin Bird 3-15.
Toby Strong (4-28) and George Bacon (3-16) then combined to dismiss the hosts for just 107.
At Challow & Childrey, Sandford set 150-7 in their 40 overs, Russell Beckett scoring 61 and Joe Harris taking 4-19.
Richard Murray and Ollie Ong then took three wickets apiece as Challow fell for 117.
Didcot skipper Richard Cook hit 86 to help his side to a 58-run win at Abingdon Vale.
Vishane Perera also struck 53 in Didcot’s 201-5, before Lucas Pugh claimed 3-23 as Vale were restricted to 143-9.
Banbury 2nd stayed top of Tier 1B with a 76-run victory over Dinton.
Useful contributions throughout saw Banbury set 208-9 in their 40 overs, Justin Lambden top-scoring with 32.
Ollie Murrey claimed 5-10 as Dinton were shot out for 132.
Tom Gurney hit 107 for Westbury in their 101-run victory over Buckingham Town 2nd.
Charlie Williams (63) also starred as Westbury racked up 266-8, before George Markham took 3-25 and Harry Williams 3-34 as Buckingham slumped to 165 all out.
Elsewhere, Cropredy beat Aston Rowant 2nd by four runs in a thriller, while Twyford saw off Bicester & North Oxford by five wickets.
Minster Lovell won the battle of the top two in Tier 2A as they edged out Thame Town 2nd by six runs.
Thame put their hosts in on a damp pitch and, with Dan Patey taking 3-22, restricted them to just 122 all out, Olly Mersh top-scoring with 33.
Thame struggled in their reply, with only Dan Sutcliffe (33) getting going.
They were all out for 114 with eight balls remaining as Minster closed the gap to 19 points.
Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts moved up to third with a comfortable 74-run win at Oxford Downs 2nd.
Downs inserted Nondies, who set 196-7, Deepak Malhotra top-scoring with 68.
Arfan Ahmed took 3-14 in Downs’ reply, and they were all out for only 122, Ben Ling top-scoring with 34 not out.
East Oxford thrashed visitors Witney Mills by 124 runs to post their first win.
Mubasher Hussain hit 12 sixes and 11 fours in a spectacular 134 as East Oxford posted 224 all out.
Mills never got close in their reply, falling to 106 all out as Mohammad Imran took 3-21.
Oxford 2nd fell to a 51-run defeat at home to Stokenchurch.
In Tier 2B, Horspath 2nd were too strong for Banbury 3rd as they ran out 159-run victors.
Robbie Eason (83no) and Tom Beresford (72) helped Horspath to a formidable 297-3 in their 40 overs, before Josh Richardson claimed 3-14 as Banbury managed only 138-9 in their reply.
Horley fell to a 107-run defeat against visitors Leighton Buzzard.
Batting first, Buzzard amassed a huge 300-6, led by Tom Light’s 127.
Dave Clark scored 60 in Horley’s reply, but they were all out for 193 in the 36th over.
Elsewhere, a big century for Adam Wirth (127no) helped leaders Brackley to 330-3, setting up a huge 230-run win over Great Brickhill 2nd.
Bletchley Town picked up their first win, beating hosts Long Marston 2nd by 18 runs.
Toby Parker’s unbeaten century steered Great & Little Tew to a 102-run win over hosts Eynsham in Tier 3A.
Parker struck 120 not out and Sam Barnes 54 not out as Tew set 259-1 in their 40 overs.
Charlie Gaskin claimed 4-38 in Eynsham’s 157 all out.
George Gompertz took 5-47 to help Cumnor 2nd to a 98-run win over visitors Tiddington 2nd in Tier 3B.
Cumnor had set 197 all out from 33.3 overs, before Gompertz starred with the ball as Tiddington fell to 99 all out.
Paul Ridler claimed 5-13 for Minster Lovell 2nd as they picked up their first win – by one wicket at Charlbury 2nd.
Charlbury were restricted to 132-9 in their 40 overs, but it took a last-wicket stand of 22 between Ben Spencer and Henry Crowther to see Minster over the line.
In Tier 4B, Jake Duxbury’s unbeaten 106 helped Twyford 2nd to a 74-run victory at Bicester & North Oxford 2nd.
Twyford set 207-4 in their 40 overs and then Tom Jackson claimed 4-33 as Bicester were all out for 133.
In Tier 5B, Nisar Ahmed hit the day’s biggest score, 178, to help Kimble 2nd to a crushing 215-win over Cropredy 3rd.
Kimble set 305-9 thanks to Ahmed’s innings, before Usman Khan took 3-14 as Cropredy fell to 90 all out.
Tom Jerred scored his first century to set up Witney Mills 3rd’s 118-run win at Abingdon Vale 4th in Tier 6.
Jerred hit 100 in Mills’s 299-5, before Vale were held to 181-7.
