A shower saw the Tiddington's innings reduced to 37 overs, but Riaan Krynauw (39) and John Mackie (32) did what they could to keep Tiddington up with the rate.
Spin twins Lee Selfe (3-26) and his young protégé Antony Francis (3-53) gave Town a chance, but the game fizzled out with the hosts on 169-7.
